Photo Garage Sale April 30 - May 1
Spring
is sprung here in Guilderland -- and that means it's time for Natural
Images Photography's Annual
Adirondack Photo Garage
Sale. The Garage sale will be held on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1 from 9
AM to 4 PM at 302
Partridgeberry Court in Guilderland at -- you guessed it -- my
garage. This year all in-stock work
will be
discounted
from regular retail prices by at
least 50%. A few scratch and dents and overstocks will be
available at deepr discounts. Save 20%
on all orders! For those of you on my (snail) mailing list, bring your postcard for additional savings (they
went out early last week).
If you like garage sales in general, our neighborhood is having a
neighborhood-wide sale at the same time. Come on Friday for best
selection!
Directions from the NYS
Thruway: Get off at Exit 25. Take the very first exit -- just
after the toll booths from 890 (which you will on as soon as you pull
away from the toll booth). This will put you on Route 7 west. Go about
one-half mile to the (new) roundabout, and take route 146 south into
Guilderland. You will go straight on 146 through 2 lights (the Thruway
entrance and Lydius St.). About one-quarter mile past the second you
will see Jessamine on your left. Turn left on Jessamine and into our
development. Follow the Adirondack photo signs to my garage.
Directions from Western
Ave. (Route 20): Take Route 146 (Carman Rd.) north toward
Schenectady. Go roughly 3 miles and through 2 lights. After the second
light, after the school, you will come to Greulich's Market on the
right. Just after Greulich's, you will see Jessamine on your right (and
lots of Garage Sale signs). Follow the Adirondack Photo garage sale
signs to my garage.
New Work
I'm in the process of deciding on my new work for
2010. It looks like there will be a new Adirondack chairs photo at
least; with a new dusk shot, rocking chairs (on an Adirondack porch, of
course!), flowers (tulips? bleeding hearts?), loons and ice patterns as
other possibilities.
Shorter Show Schedule for 2010
My show schedule for 2010 will be much
abbreviated from 2009. As some of you know, I am now working full-time
as a press officer for the New York State Department of Labor (check
out our web site to see my photojournalistic side!). I'm finding it
very difficult to work full time, take care of my family and do a lot
of shows, so I have decided to cut down to probably only three shows
for 2010. These will be the Garage Sale in April or May, CBA in
November, and Scotia-Glenville in December. I would love to return to
the Schroon Lake show, but my daughter returned to Irish Dance this
past year and her school's "feis" (dance competition) is that day. If I
do decide to add shows, I'll post them on the schedule page on this web
site.
